The way the clouds move and grow is so sick the lightning as well like how it grows is mind blowing.

As a big weather nerd, this made me smile

spider lighting occurs when branching bolts creep along the cloud's underside. ... It might jump to another cloud, or it might simply strike the air around the storm if enough charge has built up nearby.

Freaking epic! I am a lover of storms. The lightning you caught is super amazing. The time lapse video of the storm rolling in reminded me of waves rolling in at the shore. Love seeing this... please do more.

There’s nothing I love more than a good lightning show. Stunning shots, man. Might need to get myself a print!

Yeah Jack, I'd love to see the most satisfying videos ever as a mini-series!

#10 was delicious
#3 and #6 are my favorites after the spectacular #1.
I love all your content but your weather time-lapses are truly your best work. Thanks Jack.

This is some of the most spectacular lightning footage I have ever seen! It looks like you got a lot of horizontally extensive flashes in the trailing stratiform region (TSR) of that storm, with no low cloud blocking the show.
The slow mo shots reveal positive leaders emerging from the mass of old congealed anvils, scampering through the negative screening layer that forms on the base of the TSR. Usually positive leaders can be identified by the flickering/strobing recoil leaders as they propagate, but when they encounter a stronger electric field they accelerate, loop and meander in a very bizarre way, often making no branches and a smooth channel. You got some positive CGs in here as well where a few of the + leaders made connection with the ground!

I've been watching y'all since the og skim days and skate compilation videos and lately the last few have been some of my favorites. Keep it up man #Joogsquadforlife

You had two cells merge, and combine right at the perfect moment while the updraft is still strong. I am surprised you didn’t any strait line winds or damaging hail. The two cells merged and caused an extremely powerful, and destructive storm. Those were some beautiful strikes jack. Keep up the amazing filming and vlogs👍🤘🏾

I agree that your last video was one of the best.

There's three types of lighting, Cloud to Cloud, Cloud to Ground and Ground to Cloud. You got two of the three
