Referring to the unit circle, to find the solutions with in the range of 2pi, did you just keep going up in divisions of 3, for example pi/3, 5pi/3, 7pi, 3, 11pi/3, knowing that 7 and 11pi / 3 aren't solutions. Correct?.

why do we lose solutions by dividing both sides by sint?

wouldnt cos(t)=1/2 be a 30deg angle, makeing the solutions pi/6 and 5pi/6?
