I feel personally attacked 😂 I use my ZF for wildlife photography. It was a great bang for the buck before the Z6 III or Z50 II. Also shot a canon AE-1 in high school and love the retro style and knobs

With Sony's 28-70 f2.0 and this rumor of a 50-150 f2.0 I can see a Sony strategy of creating qty. 3 lenses for an f2.0 triple...with the 3rd lens being something like a 16-50

Range + price vs a constant aperture. I bought the Tamron because my 70-200 wasn't wide enough when I was shooting in smaller high school gyms. For my situation I wouldn't want to sacrifice being able to zoom out to 35mm to keep the constant f2 aperture. If it were to fit my shooting needs better than I would spend the extra money.

I currently have and love the Tamron 35-150 f2-2.8 lens. Having F2 the entire way through would be great but I would be missing the wide end.

I use 2 bodies, a 50 1.2 and a 135 1.8, and I use these two 99% of the time. I do portraits, basketball action, weddings, just about everything with this combo. Honestly, 2.8 is slower than I want to be most of the time, and I rarely need reach beyond 135. I only bring my 70-180 2.8 with me as a backup in case I snap a lens off. That being said, I'd probably keep my 50 1.2 just for the low light advantage, but the 135 would be gone lol
