I been having ear pain for a long time now. Over 10 years and I haven’t went to the doctor yet. When I swallow or yawn I hear a click in both sides of my ear. When I’m driving to high elevations or flying my ears starts hurting in EXCRUCIATING pain. There’s no way to tolerate it. I feel like dying when it happens…

I am 48 and have had painful ears upon landing my whole life. I would rather give birth than land! ENT specialist can’t operate. I try gum, nasal spray, staying hydrated. Nothing works! Even alcohol and strong pain relief hardly helps. It is what it is. But it’s horrible.

It's always when landing that I feel pressure and couldn't hear much during and few minutes after landing. Also feels pain on what I think is nerves on parts of my eyebrow and forehead area.

I haven't tried chewing gum so I'll give it a go alongside ear pods and hopefully that will help lessen it. I always look forward to flying as part of my holiday but I hate landing nowadays 😅


Anywone have the same issue? And how you were able to deal with it? I'd rather take a punch, that will feel less hurtful than what I feel when the plane I ride starts to land.

I have a problem is that when the airplane lands my inner organs( like kidney) starts to swell and almost explodes, and my wrists starts to twist inward, what’s the problem ? I will be thankful

I had this problem several time, tears start coming from right eye with an extreme pain in right forehead....i tried ear plugs that helped but not gum, i fogot ear plug during my flight today and searching how to reduce after affect as my head, nasal passage still paining
