Kanye was going through the typical test that we all go through when his prayers weren't answered. GOD wants to see if we will still want Him if He seems to not care about our problems. I have been that many times, but stand my ground against unbelief.
And about that Once saved always saved thing.... The Bible doesn't back it. Many places in New Testament it tells us to stand firm until the end, watch that we dont fall away, and that people can turn back and when they try to repent again are unable. We need to live fervently for Jesus Christ every day.
