When we feel disconnected from our spiritual side, finding our way back can be hard. But there are a few things we can do to help reclaim our spiritual identity.

First, it’s important to identify which practices connect you to a deeper sense of oneness. This might be something as simple as meditation or spending time in nature. Once you’ve identified your personal connection to the divine, you can begin to deepen that practice.

Second, try out different spaces that invoke different rituals. A sacred space might have certain symbols or objects that help you feel connected to something bigger than yourself. Or, you might find solace in a more open space like a park or beach.

Finally, invite body awareness into your daily life. This could involve yoga, Tai Chi, dance, or any other physical activity that helps you connect with your body and breath. By cultivating greater awareness of our bodies, we can also create a deeper connection to our spirit.

If you’d like support on this spiritual journey, therapy can guide you through determining for yourself what you believe and help you find ways to nurture your spiritual side.
