For me as a kid, the silver lining of going back to school was looking forward to picking out a new pair of shoes. So now as an adult, I love seeing which shoes my daughter picks out, and this year I got the pleasure of customizing this pair for her. Did you like the shoes or backpack more?!?

Looks fabulous and I suggest to go with lacy ribbons or even sparkly silky ribbon(her choice) and adding cute charms to the shoes that feel personal to her like favorite food or sport charms....instead of the white shoe strings..
Also consider adding charms to the bag!

Soooo cute!! When I was in 1st grade, my dad got some black backpacks with “Nintendo” in large letters. It wasn’t retro or very cool at the time, so my sister and I tried to de orate/cover it up with puffy paint. It only lasted a month or two.
