Great video as always. Does Final Touch have an auto levelling function, so that when you bypass the effect matrix the level stays the same as when the effect matrix is on? If not, what you are mostly going to hear is the amplitude and dynamics increase. Louder always sounds better! To level the thing yourself reduce the output faders by the same number of dB you are increasing by in the Maximiser. That way when you A/B your changes you won't get fooled by the volume change, and you'll actually be able to hear any frequency changes you've made. The main danger here is that you will end up with far too much bass.

My question is, do you really need these mastering apps. Can you do the exact same thing in a DAW or is there something in these mastering apps that the DAW’S don’t have.

Apple just destroyed it with iOS 16.3 it seems to be happening on the silicon m1 iPad pros . Mine is maxed out with two terabytes of ram and the new os destroyed this app and gadget as well as apples own GarageBand which crashed on export and sends a corrupted file out of itself into audio share which I have a recording of . I notified apple who confirmed the issue but doesn’t know when a fix will come. THANKS APPLE! fire Tim Cook ! He’s the anti iOS asswipe! Driving that company into the ground! Oh and AUM too ! Hee hee 👽✌🏻
