When will the U.S pay its debt to Laos after dropping millions of bombs during the Vietnam War and leaving Laos at a disadvantage in terms of economic and social well-being of living in a safe place without getting blown up by American Made bombs which still kill innocent lives and making development harder because of high-risk bombs underground? What we see in Laos in the last 50+ years is the U.S DEBT TRAP which left Laos isolated for many decades from the international community!

Japan technically has a larger piece of the Sri Lanka debt pie than China. Japan & US both have over a 15% stake in the Asia Development Bank. China's is only 6%.
