Mandoulides English and Adventure Camp 2014
English and Adventure Camp realizes that today’s children living in a world of advanced technology still seek real adventure and an element of physical and mental challenge in their lives. Add English to this adventure and you can’t go wrong!
Our mission is to introduce our children to a totally different experience; one where their English will be encouraged and their quest for adventure will be fulfilled.
Our camp takes place not only on our school’s campuses but also on various other locations, where children aged 4-12 will have the opportunity to take part in exciting activities such as rock climbing, orienteering, flying fox, treasure hunts, water fights, tennis, archery, horse-back riding and much more.
Children will be grouped according to their age and throughout the day the campers will be cooking, performing, dancing; all in English!
Our younger campers aged 4-8 will find themselves immersed in nature. Two day- trips to nearby destinations will be taken where children will have the chance to explore the natural world and take part in adventurous activities. This year we will be visiting Mountain Shelter Livaditi at Xanthi, Nestos River, 3-5 Pigadia at Naoussa and Loutra Pozar at Aridaia.
Their swimming techniques will also be enhanced as they will visit a local pool and have special swimming lessons from qualified swimming instructors.
Our camp is ideal for students who wish to experience an overnight camp but not be away from home for too long. All participants aged 9 and over will take part in an overnight trip to a mountainous area, where they will do extreme sports and swim in the crystal clear waters of the Greek beaches. Our campers that are 10 and over will experience two such trips.
All these experiences culminate in a show, which is presented on the last day of camp!!!
Needless to say children will at all times be supervised.
