Years ago, young Leliana told in Dragon Age Origins a lot how much she loved Val Royeaux. After listing this theme in Inquisition, I was able to feel what she meant.

This...This is Orlais.  I wish we had had more Orleisan zones in the game.  While I did enjoy Western Approach, Emerald Graves and Exalted Plains, with Emprisse Du Lion being my favorite zone, I wish we had seen more Civilized and Cultural Orleisan areas.  Perhaps in a DLC they could expand upon Val Royeaux and make it sort of like how they had Denerim in Origins?

Somewhere in Heaven, Lully is weeping for bringing French Baroque so beautifully back into the future. Something tells me if Orleans took the throne this would have been their anthem. Trevor Morris all French gamers salute this awesome music you have composed!

This is maybe my favorite of the shorter tracks from the soundtrack. It sounds just like Val Royeaux looks and feels--like masks and intrigue and high society and pretentious culture and stinky cheeses. The first 30 seconds heavily featuring the strings are just lovely.

Dragon Age: Inquisition - movie score level music, some songs to beautiful they've brought me to tears (Lost Elf theme), some songs on par with the greatest of classic music (this one).
