Возьмите обычную иголку для шитья или сверло по металлу, раскалите до красна и остудите... Металл потеряет закалку и свойства. Иголка по крепкости будет похожа на скрепку..

То что слелали эти ребята вызывает уважение и недоразумение. Без закалки, которая делается с точностью до нескольких градусов эти "большие игрушки" Ничего не стоят...

Despite the jokey and sometimes sarcastic comments, we are watching something special here that can't be seen in our factories these days (although these techniques were the basis of our modern practice)
Amazing teamwork from these guys, the coordination required to manipulate the forging using the chain hoist, giant tongs and bars is sweeter to watch than any ballet. The balance point of the chain lift is critical yet they get in the right place every time.
The skills required to do this are non-existent in the west now, mechanical manipulators having replaced manual working of forgings decades ago.
