The main scale is self explanatory to anyone, but the vernier scale is the one that needs to be explained.

Ok, but you didn't explain how to use the Vernier scale.
At 3:00 the vernier scale has one mark that is aligned with another mark on the main scale, maybe the third one after "4"
So the measure is: 24 + 0.44 +/- 0.02 mm

Please redo this video. The part about how to read the venier scale is incomplete. There's a reason why there are more numbers on the vernier scale! (See wikipedia). Wonderful videos otherwise. Keep up the great editing and info.

If you want to know how to use a "ruler" just fine - but this is a vernier caliper - and you did not explain using the vernier !!

2 parts missing 1st missing part how to use the vernier scale ( i know how thankfully ) 2nd missing part the adjustable part connected to the vernier with a thumb screw on the top and another parallel to the callipers length ( this bit I don’t know how to use )
