You need to adjust your cables. You have too much slack. Need to read instructions on how to adjust cable length.

There is a second set of holes for those pins when you are doing chest flys. And adjust the cable length for less slop.

I just assembled this exact home gym and you definitely need to do some adjustment. If you have the cable adjusted correctly (only about 1/2" of free movement at the ball ends at most), then you get a full bench press, you get a full butterfly and you get a full leg press. Also, you did not mention the leg curls stating looking at the machine. You can work the back of your legs. It also comes with ankle straps for side swings. All of the cons you just mentioned are all due to not adjusting the cable correctly. Tighten up that cable and it will be a much better machine for you.

I will say, it is pretty narrow for the butterflies and for doing things like pull downs while seated, but me at 5"10" and lets just say, a bigger guy, can still do all movements just fine. Please adjust that cable and do an update video on the gym. It gets better, I can assure you. Oh, and put the pins from the press into the holes when you want to do butterflies. That way they are not trying to smack you constantly.

That's crazy because I put mine up and have no issues with that chest press locking. Maybe I did it wrong

You dont need to put the chain .. Works better .. and there’s like 2 more exercises that you can do on the machine

Have the Costco one, I like it but more range of motion would be nice. My wife being short and tiny gets more ROM than I do at 6.1

Basically……it does “half exercises”. Even the leg extensions are a half movement. I would just save your money and buy a functional trainer that’s around the $1, 500 mark or higher. It’s not worth it when you can’t do the full range of motion.
