When I go to "sounds and haptics" the options "vibrate on ring" and "vibrate on silent" are not there.

Verify that Vibration is enabled in Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Vibration

It works on my iphone 13

goto sounds and haptics
-> select haptis as play in silent mode->
below that option click on Ringtone-> top you can see "Haptic" click on it -> change synchronised default to vibration variation.
It will work.

But HOW do I make it vibrate FOR CALLS but NOT for MESSAGES??? I've searched the whole web, and not one seems able to answer this.
I want to: 1-always have the iPhone on silent; NOT vibrate when I get texts; vibrate when someone calls me.

How can this be so hard???

Go to play haptics in silent mode turn it on then go ring tone and enable vibration

I do not have the vibrate settings. I had to go to another video for iphone 13 and found it's a switch on the side of the phone.

Mine wasn’t working then I went on sound and haptics and scrolled down under lock sound it said system haptics
I turned that off and it worked
