No me gustan las críticas a James. Tiene casi 60 años y sufrió, graves quemaduras en sus cuerdas vocales, por aquella intoxicación. Nunca se recupero del todo, demasiado que sigue cantando. Ahora se trata de apoyarle con la edad, no de echarle mierda, a un tio que jamás abandonó el grupo y lo ha dado todo.

51:04 what if DT started incorporating magic into their shows? They can play this stuff forward and back, their 70yr old keyboard player is moonlighting as a shred guitarist. Maybe insert some sleight of hand to maintain their own interest & keep things fresh. Petrucci disappears in a cloud of smoke and lasers then reappears on the other side of the stage. Portnoy hits his cowbell and a dove flys out. Labrie pulls his mic out of the stand but the cable is endless.

I respect James only he knows how difficult was to sing all those years.... Coming on stage now after all and trying to sing "Awake"... It's sooo hard for him to challenge and fight his limitations... BIG RESPECT! ❤

Imagine being James and in the first minutes into Metropolis you feel this is not 'the best night' (in vocal terms) and then.. you have to play for another 2 hours and 45 minutes.. would feel like a nightmare to me..

How can the keen musical ears of these world class musicians stand this night after night? Its very hard to listen to for me only on occasion.
Somebody needs to make the not so difficult decision to find a different singer. A playback of these performances should convince any logical person that his time has passed. I have been with these guys from the beginning but just cant listen to this anymore

i'm sure James is trying to give his best, but he can’t sing old songs anymore. It’s not fair with the audience. Life is made of cycles and sometimes we have to end with some of them. Or the band should change the tone of most of many songs.

I saw them at Hammersmith in London 2020 2 weeks before the CoVid17 lockdown! Great to see Mike back! I think James does the best he can singing a very difficult song. Thanks for the video.
