I am looking to change my old heating system to a Caddy Advanced CR Wood/Electric /Heat pump. The website indicates that this is possible and has the blower and electric add on units listed but nothing on the Heat Pump . Has anyone gone this route and if so how is the heat pump evap unit inserted into the system ? My local HVAC people can't seem to solve this problem.

I have an oil furnace and I am wondering if there is cost savings to go with an add on vs the stand alone units. I imagine installation would be cheaper also?
