5 minute haircut at home | long layered haircut

Hey there! In today’s video, I’m taking matters into my own hands and giving myself a soft layered haircut at home. My goal? Trim off those pesky dead ends while keeping as much length as possible because I’m trying to grow my hair. I’ll walk you through everything, from prepping and sectioning my hair to snipping and blending the layers so they look natural and soft. Cutting your hair at home can be a little nervewracking, but it’s also super satisfying, plus! It saves some cash!! If you decide to try this out, let me know how it goes. Uuuggghhh THANK YOU SOOOO MUUUCH!!! I accidentally thought I was a full blown hair stylist one night and cut way too many short laying INTO one side of my head before I got completely overwhelmed and stopped🤣 thank God I have curly hair so it’s unnoticeable and grown out over the past almost 5 months. But knowing its uneven has been driving me crazy and I literally tried to book a hair appointment to get it fixed, but I just knew deep down I didn’t want my hair chopped off. Thank you. i really recommend wetting hair instead of straightening it! i've always cut my hair at home and it's way easier/quicker and avoids heatdamage :) you may have to keep wetting it if it dries as you go along

You answered a question i had post home diy butterfly cut regarding balancing/sectioning off the 2 pony tails. I learnt that most of my hair and weight is in the back half of my head so when i cut in the layers, it looked like a little much layers added in the front but somehow too much hair was gone. It still looks good but i like having some bulk/length in the front of my face near ears/neck. Hope that makes sense

But I have a question after cutting this way when my hair looks like laired upper but a little extended un the second part... You know what I mean? What to do to make it the same length? Do I have to cut more in the second part? How much should I cut?
