I absolutely love how she used the melodic “ Aeee Eee vocals in this interlude and added it to the chorus of Tears in The Club. It’s so ughhhh 😍

If anything this interlude is highly connected to tears in the club, perhaps telling her story of excitement of a newfound love in this interlude, but then ending up heartbroken and with tears in the club (distraction from heartbreak) the sounds much happier here, almost like she’s trying to verbalize that she likes someone but it’s translating through harmonized sounds.

the piano is so enchanting. this track feels so genuine and it presents itself a collection of memories. the vocals and minor chords together at the end of the song fill me with an intricate feeling i can only begin to describe as rich and dark. twigs, you are so talented and skilled in your craft and this mixtape is a hallmark of that. every song on here is phenomenal and you can tell she put so much energy towards this project, just as she does with all of her work. she's come so far and this is just the beginning for her- i'm so excited to see where she goes next. lots of love to you, twigs, and all of these beautiful songs. <3
