I bought a 32" tv for like $100, mounted it in front of my Concept 2, then use countless available playlists in YouTube for free. Hard pass on any monthly subscriptions for home gym equipment.

I'd like to see how a class is actually presented. I'm interested in a device/app that would simulate rowing a shell on different water ways like the Mosel river in Germany for example. Does it do that? Likewise, with the Ski Erg. I'd love to see different scenery.

The subscription model for everything these days... companies will see they are losing customers who are tired of it. About USD$1000.00 for a tablet and 1-year sub. For most of us who are into fitness as a lifestyle.... thousands of dollars. Just not worth it.

great video, thank you.... I have the C2 ERG and love this machine, I also sub to the Crew app with Shane Farmer. in your opinion, does this subscription replace the Crew app? as you stated, while worth it I'm sure, these parts and apps are at the top of the price point curious to hear your thoughts. I just don't want yet another app and subscription to pay for, but want the best one i can afford.

thank you, Al

$30 per month isn't a 'deal'. My suggestion is simple - don't buy this, precious few people are going to pony up $499 AND $36 per month for something this unnecessary; the PM5 is fine. Myrow is going to die a quick death - you don't want to be one of the few who wasted their money buying it.

Tell coop to put you on the main channel! Would have liked your view on the recent Rogue rower

The myrow is a nice product. It's very expensive for what it is, an android tablet without a battery and some mounting tools. id buy once, cry once just to have the package. However, one of the best things about the concept 2 is no power cord. I'm not going to plug in the myrow. A second bad thing is, subscription service. There are too many fantastic workouts and videos to use to ever have to pay. I get it, some people pay just to take advantage of their purchase. Third, it doesn't have access to anything to just stream music, or with the camera that's on it, allow you to Livestream your workouts. If you are willing to pay $500 + $35 + $144 (warranty always get the warranty!) or +$359 + $144 then there are better options to enhance the features and quality of the concept2 at a total of $535, $679 (w/warranty) and especially at $859 or $1003 (w/warranty). I like the company, I like the product but they aren't selling anything that anyone with an android tablet, iPad or Windows surface tablet that can be mounted (abd easily) is missing and with the prices one can just get one of those products which are more versatile.

The notion that designing anything for the concept2 that will help motivate folks to use it regularly has to look like a spreadsheet interspersed with talking heads is lost on me. Yes, my 10 year old rower has not evolved much beyond development of the PM5, but staring at nothing but data and talking heads does not get it tor me. How about at least some rear view videos on the water?
