Qaida Azam was first married to his cousin Amy Bai at the age of sixteen. Quaid e Azam was still living in London and his marriage had only been completed for a year when he got the news of his wife's death.
Quaid e Azam did not marry for the next twenty-five years and now his focus was on his career. His second marriage took place on 19 April 1918 to Ratan Bai Patet, daughter of Indian businessman Sudan Shah Patet. Belonging to the Parsi religion, Ratan bai accepted Islam and changed her name to Maryam.
At the time of marriage, Maryam Jinnah was eighteen years old while Quaid was forty-two years old.
Because of Maryam's marriage, her father ended all relations. After a year of marriage, their daughter Dina Wadia was born.
When Dina was ten years old, her mother died. Newail Wadia, who belonged to the Parsi religion, was liked by Dena Jinnah.
When he informed the Quaid about this, the Quaid said that there are millions of Muslim boys all over India, but you liked this Parsi youth for yourself.
Dina replied that there were millions of Muslim women all over India but why did you marry a Parsi girl i.e. my mother?
Dina marries Newail Wadia against her dad's wishes.
Quaid separated his daughter from him and never met again. When Dena Wadia came to Karachi after the death of Quaid-e-Azam in 1948, the people of Pakistan saw her crying profusely. Dena Wadia remains in India and has one son Nusli Wadia. The only grandson of Quaid e Azam is counted among the billionaire Seths of India. Here we were talking about Dina Wadia, she last came to Pakistan in 2004. She also met the family of Alama Iqbal.
Newail Wadia died in 2006 while Dena Wadia died in 2017 in New York USA.
Nasli Wadia lives in Mumbai and has two sons, Jahangir Wadia and Nis Wadia.
Jahangir Wadia, who is Quaid's great-grandson, owns a huge number of Textile Mills in India of the Wadia Group. Apart from this, he is also the owner of GoAir Airlines. In which there are about a hundred plans.
Jahangir Wadia is married to Salina Wadia, a hostess, and has two children, Ella Wadia and Ness Wadia.
