Jaguar XJ-S V12 - I've broken it...

Fixing the kick-down switch was too much for the old thing and a coolant hose burst near the top of first gear accelerating away from a dual-carriageway roundabout. The car suddenly started creating its own weather behind it, so I slowed down and limped into a Starbucks carpark just off the main road at the next junction.

Ah, yes been there. On the M56 when proceeding at a pace somewhat in excess of the legal speed limit the top hose burst!
