Tamiya Mud Blaster II 2WD 1/10 Classic Monster Truck Build Update #2 ... & the GoolRC TG-3 (Rant!)

Quick update (rant!) about the Tamiya Mud Blaster II and the plans for it, in terms of ball bearings, pinion, GoolRC TG-3 (Austar AX-5S) radio and the rest of the electronics.

Well, to be honest this was recorded some time ago now and we're actually already enjoying our Tamiya WT-01's together in the garden. Getting the video files sorted out and uploaded just took a while. But here is the first rant, for those interested in this chassis. Looking forward showing you the final result, although it still needs a Subaru Brat driver (and perhaps a few basic upgrades).

Thank you for watching!

A very enjoyable update, Mikael. It will be good to see the two trucks running together soon. I don't think I heard any "ranting" as your voice is way too soothing for that! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday! :))

Hello Mikael. I know you are going to put the Hobbywing 1060 esc into your Mighty Bull, but I have a little tip for you if you are going to use these esc's in the future for any trailing/crawling. Remove the jumper pin from the FBR/FB/FR row and leave it out. The drag brake function works better like this. I have no idea why and it sounds strange, but it does improve it a little. I have done this with all of mine in my trail rigs. I read about it on a forum not long after they were released : ))

Nice run down bro, Little man's WT01 is coming along nicely.. Also wicked cool idea about returning your 1st Tamiya the Mighty Bull back to stock so you can run it with him so you both basically got the same truck!! :)
