Honestly, after I saw episode 9, I thought Harrison did it partially for Carrie because she had passed away before this movie and she was supposed to play a huge part in it.

If Carrie Fisher hadn't passed away, I don't think he would have been back, money or no. The way they brought him back was good, but Ben and Leia never got a face to face moment in the movies, and no amount of movie magic with her can replace the human factor of the moment on Kef Bir.

rumor has it...every sequel was supposed to highlight one...Luke, Leia, Han....Han in episode 7, Luke in episode 8, and Leia in episode 9. Our Princess died too soon so instead of seeing his mother in episode 9, Harrison came back to take that place. He owed it to Carrie, and He did it because it made sense. Harrison doesn't play a roll unless he thinks it makes sense. The vision of him was originally supposed to be Carries. A mother calling to her son to save him. Well, a father can also have pull. I was so surprised when jj abrams found out that they were going to bring Han Solo aka Harrison Ford back alive it actually feels like that Han Solo came back in some sort of way but not really and I hope that Lego Star Wars the skywalker saga will do the same exact thing but in that case Han Solo is still alive but not really.

I did not like that unceremonious end for Han in Ep.7 - I'm so glad that Abrams put a little bit of a brighter touch on his exit from the saga in Ep.9

I'm still hoping that that's what this was. LOL
