I have the six cylinder version of this car, mine is the same color exterior and interior, mine is an original six cylinder three speed manual transmission version, 1967 fastback, I’ve had mine for 37 years and it’s my first car I’ve had since high school

What a rarity and unbelievable that Michael and Tyler again have found such an unique icon.
Most impressing, the car comes with documentation and a history. Priceless. Thanks for all the information about these HiPo GT-Fastbacks.

Wow, this Mustang is a great car. And like all these vintage cars, the driver's "touch" is fundamental. I had already commented some time ago on barefoot driving, and even in this case I can tell you that personally, to be in total feeling with the car, barefoot you have a real pleasure in driving. Don't worry about those who probably criticize the habit of driving barefoot: you get on with it this way.

I enjoyed having friends in the 70's that had both 67 k code fastbacks and 67 k code gt yellow convertible 4 speed with all the HD stuff you cold get as options and a paxton super charger that was instalked day one by the owner or dealer. We had many miles and 1/4 miles of fun beating big blocks with that sweet car!

These little engines could RUN ! And the 302 built on this performance with a few more cubes, the Boss engine is legendary and owes it legacy in pursuit of more performance to the K Code . Beautiful car !!

my dad was the second owner of a 1966 K-code in the early '70s, his last speeding ticket was on the drive home from a Ford dealer after having a complete tuneup

My brother had one he bought new when he was in the Army. He kept it until 1971. It was Wimbledon White with a blue interior. He used to humiliate corvettes with it. It would out corner and out accelerate anything.

Hello Michael how are you? Great video as usual. I have a ‘67 k code 4 speed fastback 63B interior exterior decor group. Mine is a Metuchen built car too and checking your Marti report mine was built just 6 days after yours. We have chatted before you may remember, I’m in the UK so that may jog your memory. All the best
John.

I would like to research a 67 fastback my Uncle bought new in 67, it shared all the same things on the outside except minus the fog lamps and gt stripes. Same color. The interior is where at the age of 64 have never seen another. The color was a baby blue, sported a factory 8 track stereo, red and white door marker lights, and an overhead console which continues from the bottom of the dash across the hump to just behind the front seats to where 2 round lights mounted on each side of the console lit the rear floor. It had a 289 2bbl and an automatic trans with a floor shift that had different colored square jewel lites for each gear. I absolutely Loved that car growing up. Also had the turbine style hub caps that were shown in your video. If this sounds familiar post to this channel. as a motorcity car nut, I love to learn. 👌

I had a’67 coup in 1972. Bought it for $500. My dad sold it after I went in the army. I agreed and he put the money in my savings account. Wonder what happened to it. I now have a’65 coup 6 cylinder. Nice cruising car😊

The K code 289 was first released on the 1963 Fairlanes and Comets. 1964? K code 289 was available on 1965 Fairlanes and Mustangs. 1966 and 1967 K code Mustangs were also available with automatic transmissions.
