I really wanted to specialize in propeller maintenance because my boss doesn't teach me because he's afraid of losing his position, I tried looking for an online course on propellers but I couldn't find it

I think I would have just filled that scratch with bondo and painted the prop. That wasn’t a gouge it was a tiny scratch! You actually did more damage to the structural integrity of that prop by repairing the “damage”.

A much bigger roll of tape would make this easier.

No Mask. No Gloves, No Eyewear :(. I used to do repairs on composites at Spacex. We would never work with composites without proper PPE

This was great in theory but his repair was dodgy, the marker on the glass, the glass even moved out of place when he taped it too. And surprised they didnt fair it either.

My workplace would never let me contaminate my repair with sharpie like that. Use PPE, please. Your lack of PPE use might be why you have the shakes.
