Thanks for the summary.
I think it's not easy to constantly "endure" these different conditions and moods. Sometimes there's a lot of wind, sometimes not much, making up or losing miles, the boat is great or something breaks, being in top shape or tired... Joy and sadness are very close together.
But you can do it, Boris! 🫶 I'm sure of it! You're strong! 💪 Especially when the Malizia is now sure to "fly" in the Southern Ocean! ⛵️

Brilliant recap team. So much has happened in the last week but Boris and Malizia are coping really well. It is hard to believe that one third of the race has been completed already. I am sure there will be some ‘interesting’ times still to come but hey, this is the Vendee Globe, the best test of man/woman and machine. Hang in there Boris. Our thoughts are always with you especially every four hours when the tracker is updated. 👏👍

Moin Boris,
Hab heute das erste Mal einen Live-Chat gesehen/gehört aus HH. Bin 82 Jahre alt, noch nicht so fit mit meinem Smartphone und Segel auch nicht. Aber mein Sohn in USA/Maryland macht Rennsegeln.
Hab grad gehört, daß du über Nacht eine größere Reparatur hattest und jetzt ausschläfst.
Hab auch gehört, daß sich zum Wochenende schwerste Stürme zusammenbrauen mit bis zu 10 m hohen Wellen?!!
