Charles Daellanbach is most recorded tuba player of all time and certainly one of the finest tuba players in the world. Charles has anchored the bass line of the Canadian Brass since the group was formed in 1970. As a trumpet player myself I have to say "Charles we could not do it without You!" You are an outstanding influence and inspiration to all Brass Players across the world!

I’m a saxophone player and have been listening to these folks for years, my first recordings were on cassettes. I wish there were a saxophone equivalent group.

I cried watching this and at first I wasn't sure why. I think it was because this video so perfectly captures the feeling of musicians when live performances began to resume after stopping for so long during the pandemic. This is a great video!!

I am deeply touched. Considering your companions are in better place now and only music and playing music is your past and your now. It gives your joy and remebrance at the same time.

Awesome Charlie!! Can’t believe it that you you been in that group for fifty years and still holding. It’s true what they say tuba players are the glue that holds the group together, we are that special diamond that’s hard to find and keep. You are the one that inspired me to play tuba and found my voice 35 years ago and still going. Keep it up Chuck and the rest of the Canadian Brass players.👍🏻🇨🇦

Thank you Chuck. This video made me cry. I remember first seeing you play when Fred Parsons took our school music classes to hear you and the rest of the Canadian Brass Perform in Blythe Ontario around 1977-78. It was magical. Thank you for sharing your music.

CB's version of "Hallelujah Chorus" + "Saints" has always been my favorite piece. Now another "Hallelujah" is added to the list! 🥰🎺
