I loved the video! A LOT! It means so much to see how happy you are with all your new stitchy toys. 😄 Yes, you're welcome to show the pattern in a later video if you like. If not, that's fine, too. It was just such a great blessing to see how excited you were and to know how much fun you'll be having, trying everything out! I know these things have been a game-changer for me, and I know you'll enjoy stitching and crafting that much more now that you have them. 😄 Happy birthday all over again! 😄 And Happy, Happy, Happy Creating!

Love the thread magic!! Life saver. Also can use a chap stick in a pinch. Makes metallics actually enjoyable or at least tolerable.

I'm glad you got spoiled with new toys! What a gorgeous thing for Stitch26 to do <3 The crafty community is so lovely. Also without being overly dramatic - putting my tapestry needles in a small tin changed my life.

The light up retractable threader is one of my personal favorites. It’s much sturdier and so helpful on the go.

I absolutely love my trolley needle-- it makes my stitches look so much nicer. I will be checking out those tail tuckers now!

Love this! Tip on the needele holder. Add a small magnet to both the top and end of the box on the end opposite of the lip to get a more secure closure to the tin.

awwww that's such a thoughtful gift! Bits and bobs in a bag always scratches a brain itch too. Would love to see a tutorial of the laying tool if you feel it's useful!

My daughter and both her kids (7&9)v use their needle minders on the Aida cloth. My daughter laughed at me when she saw that I placed my needle minder on my shirt over my heart. Needle minders are a form of jewelry to me! Am I the only one?

I do also like the thread magic for kit flosses that leave a lot to be desired. Some kit floss is fine, some of it is dreadful. While I have been known to swap out kit flosses for the closest dmc I can find, usually it isn’t worth the time and money. While I rarely use thread magic on DMC (except metallics) it can be very much a game changer if not necessary for some of the kit flosses.

For example, I have a cheap kit set I found on “the river” of 3 printed patterns on 11ct Aida, that will end up being a pretty tryptic of flowers each about 7x15 inches. I picked it up to have an “easy project” all set and ready to go in my big tote bag that I tend to take with me on long days when I need all the things. Occasionally on such days I find myself stuck waiting around for 20-30 minutes for one thing or another and I’d like to do something better for my mental health with the time than just doom scroll, but I also don’t want to have to fuss with a pattern, and highlighters, and reading glasses, and 50+ colors of floss. So the idea was a cross stitch project that I could pick up and put down almost immediately with no fuss and be able to just zone out and stitch along except when changing colors. If I remember right the whole kit of 3 was like $12 USD. But at that price the quality of the floss and Aida isn’t great, so a little thread magic makes it sooo much easier and more pleasant to work on.

Me watching this video.."ohh add to basket....that looks good to, add to basket....and that..."😂
I couldn't find any tail end weavers in the UK though, I will need to do a more in depth search for those 😊 I usually end up having to half weave the needle through and then re-threading it as I leave the yarn shorter than the needle so it unthreads when I try to weave the ends in, I do not like starting a new thread for 1-2 final stitches.

What a wonderful gift! I particularly like the button lights (need to get some of those) and the end weavers (I do so enjoy playing thread chicken). I can't wait for Part B. :D

Taking notes over months to create the perfect gift is the nicest thing ever! She's amazing! 🥰 I think I only knew the needle threader among all those goodies so I will be ready to learn about all the other items in part 2(b)! 🤭
PS: Love seeing you with the earrings but all I see is the mistakes I made looking straight back at me 🤣
