Reading and listening to Robin Wall Kimmerer already feels like a gift, and it reminded us to hold deep gratitude for this Earth. In turn, we wanted to give thanks by sharing her ideas, the Teachings of Plants, her ways of looking at mosses, and mingling Indigenous Knowledges and Wisdoms with Western Science. This video follows her ideas from her online speeches and her two books, ”Braiding Sweetgrass” and ”Gathering moss”, with the hope of spreading the seeds of gratitude further.

Thank you again for another great one 💙
I've heard of Kimmerer before and their work is something I want to dive into more at some point. On Turtle Island, despite everything, this indigenous knowledge has been kept, and I see a conversation and exploration of this happening. In the part of Europe where I live this is not so much the case. So thinking about what this means in my own context is a little confusing but also very interesting and valuable. And I probably wouldn't without people like you all who put so much effort into sharing these ideas in accesible ways.

Wonderous and wonderful. Superb message. Braiding Sweetgrass is phenomenal wisdom. Only one critique here: why the music soundtrack and does it have to be so pronounced? The talk and speaker speak truth. Truth doesn't need epic orchestrated music, at least not so loud. One opinion.
