most people forget that Ethan was nearly 30 when Crystal Castles formed, Alice was 17 years old. he was a grown ass man.

Watching this breaks my heart. She was suffering behind the scenes of this...but she must’ve felt pressured both by Ethan and the support/love from fans to continue holding on. I salute her. As an abuse survivor myself, it takes so much strength to pull through and escape.

I've been listening to this song everyday for the past week and it's my go-to for letting all my anger out. The performance is just so emotional and it feels like Alice is putting all her heart and soul into this song to scream out what she wants to say, but is being held back by Ethan's synthesiser.

Its like alice is a robot thats sentient, and she's trying to scream for someone to help her get out of her metal body but its muffled by the electronic voice filter.

I just feel horrible for her watching this, especially now. It’s just disturbing really, that creep right there always behind her shoulder even when shes trying to perform for her fans and do her art. She recovered brilliantly though, and I love her solo album.

EDIT: It’s true that while they are just allegations, you can tell when someone is lying about something as serious as this and I definitely feel like she was telling the truth. So yeah, I can’t prove she was telling the truth or lying, but I can choose to believe her which I do.
