A "walkable environment"? Unless they plan sun shades for the sidewalks, they obviously haven't walked anywhere in July.

Where are they getting the water to cool off their systems?

Where will they get the water for the new residents and the facilities?

When the head of a new project can barely get a coherent sentence out and can’t make eye contact you’re screwed. Good luck with this project in the middle of the desert

Chip making requires huge amounts of water. Is the desert the best place for this? We are already starting to have water issues.

Un-walkable at least 6 months out of the year

They delayed construction because there they felt there wasn’t a qualified work base. It will be a 15min city and H-1B workers.

Water is a political problem. We can get the necessary water...when it becomes necessary.

Oh, good...just what we need. Another 100, 000 or so people surrounding an industry that demands a lot of water for production and produces additional heat in the process. How did this get approved with a 100 year assured water supply?

When she said (1:28) "it's expected to become an urban walkable environment", it should cause people to pay attention. Haven't we learned yet that "urban" almost always leads to problems, especially with drugs, homelessness, and crime? The developers and builders are getting richer while the residents of AZ are facing more crime, much more traffic, and with a much larger tax base, still had their taxes raised. Yes, taxes were raised in this area to pay for schools for the influx of new residents. Where are the gains for that area? There are no gains, just a loss of open spaces, more traffic, more crime and higher taxes. Oh yeah, then there's a little thing called WATER!!! Greed, greed, greed. The developers and builders live elsewhere and the county just sees dollar $ign$, meanwhile everything will disappear if there's no water. Wake up!!!

I would be interested to see the agreements for water to support the entire development. It must have been very complicated.

1:02 I'm not a real estate expert, what if TSMC needs to expand? Where they gonna do that if your little city surrounds it like that?

No one mentions the fact that just north of that planned development area is the largest public outdoor shooting facility in the US and has been there since the late 50’s.

More concrete into a city that it's on the verge of collapse from lack water and unbearable heat that eventually is going to create a max exodus of people in the future.

Where’s the water coming from? It’s going to be diverted from somewhere else. This deal will bring in billions and billions of dollars one day. If I had a billion dollars I bet the gov.. would invite me over for dinner. I have a hundred dollars and I can’t get a hood rat to eat dinner with me
