Brooklyn College students want police banned from campus

Petition in the works says students do not feel comfortable around cops.

This is ridiculous. They will regret this the first time a major crime event such as a mass shooting occurs on campus when the police come to save them.

Those kids are LUCKY to have cops in their school. It's unlikely anybody would try and harm them WITH the police in their school. Thank God Trump was elected and the liberals and their offspring will NEVER run this country again.

To do so - no police.. means the immature makes the rules and everyone else obeys. It's the duty of the adult in the room not to allow the child to act out in such a way as to harm themselves. They being not experienced enough to know any better.

We had campus police at the university I went to. They were a pain in the a$$ and rude to students but, so what? We put up with it. It didn't bother us. We had no safe spaces. We didn't feel unsafe. It was what it was. It was also a time when the DEA had plants taking classes at universities all over the country. I've met some of the guys later in life that worked for the DEA as students. Quite a few were Vietnam vets.
