Captain slig is the goat he shows he cares for his own in subtle gestures like when he tell mullok he's being harsh on the slig soldiers or how he recruited the others to help making sure his brothers got something in return he's a underdog hero perhaps to the sligs what abe and munch are to the mudokons and gabbits I really hope the captain returns he's cool!

Mullock is the best glukkon and I feel kinda bad for him he has been desperate in both new n tasty and soulstorm he's also got a decent redemption arc

I wonder if Lorne Lanning will make a direct sequel to Soulstorm where Abe and his two litter brothers: Alf and Toby do go to Nolybab after all, and I also wonder if the next Oddworld game will also be a reimagining of Munch’s Oddysee too with a remake/remaster title like Oddworld: Nolybab or… something like that I’ll bet 8:11?

Never played Oddworld, but this cutscene dose make me question why the Glukkon's are the top race here, they are clearly only in power as long as those little squid guys are on there side, they got no weapons, no arms (I know there arms are really there feet but they don't use them as actual arms), what exactly is preventing them from being overthrown?

I think the reason Soulstorm didn’t do to well is because it became too serious. Very little humour, something the previous games had in abundance. If you take out all the humour, it’s like an entirely different game. I mean even the main plot is very different. I loved the other games but soulstorm would have been better off as a cgi movie.
