Boy Scouts of America changes name to Scouting America

Time to drop my affiliation. 73yr old. Cub Scout(AOL), Eagle (OAV), Air Scout (USAF-30yrs), Pack Leader, Weblows Leader, Scout Master, Council Member, and this is the last straw. My daughters went the full boat in Girl Scouts. I just about left when they lowered the Scout Master standards. And I'll say again, "Scouting America needs to actively support the Girl Scouts and counter the current trends. I think they need to get back to their roots.

I’m a male teacher and I was always sad when my mom wouldn’t let me join. I felt left out. Now when I see the scout leaders come talk to the kids… I understand why. They are so creepy and unsettling.

I feel uncomfortable being in a room with them… I can’t imagine going on a trip or being left alone in a room with them 🫣

I’m sure they are not all bad people, but it seems like some may not have the best interest at heart.
