Made in Australia..been using it since the 90s, a great putty. if it dries out in the container just add a little water and zap it in a microwave oven ... works a treat. cheers

Been using this for year's and if you get yourself the white one you can use it to tint other colours to get a real close match.

It does stain nicely, but you easily get halows around the hole. I even sanded (with palm sander) .

For small, round woodworking pieces, how would you put this on?

Credit cards/straight edges don’t seem to work very well.
Instinctually, using gloves hands come to mind, but that’s probably not a great plan.

Would you recommend using Timbermate for a newly milled exterior raw Mahogany storm door as a grain filler, to be finished with a Spar Varnish? Also, would you recommend using this as a wood filler for hairline cracks on a White Oak entry door exterior, finished with Spar Varnish?

So if your product gets wet the filler falls out, right? I don't think I like that.

Color with the tint or dyes ? Or both? Will this dry lighter/different than the color reached while it's wet? Thickness limitations? How deep of a hole can it fill? You mentioned applying over shellac - does a coat of shellac interfere with adhesion? Can it be applied over antique finishes would those need to be completely removed before applying timbermate?
Thanks, Joe

I guess you can't use this to parquet floors since you'd be mopping the floor and it would come off with the mopping?
