I loved using the spdif output of my little DVD player into my Logitech thx 5.1 system. It still sounds great even though the technology is super outdated.

Guys great video. Can see why THX teamed with Jack. What a beautiful product. I am getting them as soon as they come out in the fall I need to upgrade from my unreliable Amazon hdmi crap that sometimes displays greens and purple hiccups on my Apple TV

How well would this cable work with Xbox series x with 8k gaming in other HDR10 or HDR10+ if use 4k display streaming and gaming be in Dolby VISION quality will cable handle it. Will it also handle Dolby vision streaming content with IMAX Enhanced quality for action sequences from marvel studios titles.

The John Player Special simplicity does it. Sexy as hell.

Great video Gene and I would LOVE to have at least 3 of these cables. However. The price kills it for me. Pretty tough when your on a budget.

Wonderful video but would like to know if THX/Pixelgen cables will work with HDMI keystone jacks currently available or not at all or, do they offer their own jacks? Or, do they only work connected directly to both your receiver and the monitor, which means, of course, you then have to use a pass through type of wall plate, something that is not very visually appealing? I went on Pixelgen's site but do not see any type of keystone jacks available.

Are these cables made in Canada or China? Thanks.

What does it do different or better than other 48gbps that losslessly pass the signal?

I run the best 8K FIBRE brand, Fiber Optic cables so im set for life or a very long time. One of the best brands in the business. Proven quality. Im very happy with that brand. They are one of the first companies to come out with Fiber Optic cables. Not bashing THX, I've owned THX licensed products on and off since the early to mid 80's. 🤟

One last comment before leaving, Thanks Gene for holding your ground and making them
grudgingly admit that a digital cable will either pass the 1s and 0s without errors or it won't.
They really were squirming but Jack agreed at about the 7:40 point, "absolutely".
We depend on you for the no-snake-oil approach and you didn't let us down today. ;)

As far as i've seen they're not available in the UK which is disappointing, there isn't anywhere that sells them in the UK and on the website there's no UK distributer.

They should focus on bringing THX Loudness Plus to more devices. Barely any amplifiers have it anymore and its main competitor Audyssey Dynamic EQ is known for overemphasizing the surround speakers massively, ruining the sound field.
I'm waiting for Yamaha to come out with a 48 Gbps capable AVR and may try YPAO Volume instead.

I recently got a Kaleidescape Strato V for my theater....consisting of Marantz Cinema 30 and JVC RS1100 projector. The Strato came with a Pixelgen 6ft cable so I used that. My other components (Apple TV and Zidoo Z30) use Zeskit 2.1 cables and the cable from the AVR to the projector is a Monoprice 2.1 cable. Thus far all seems to work but the Strato does sometimes go black screen when exiting a movie...only way to fix is to power cycle the Strato. I am thinking of eliminating the "cheaper" HDMI cables from the chain and going with set of Pixelgen cables just to be safe. All my sources and AVR are in a 15U rack so cable runs can be short..but I have heard that < 6ft cables can be problematic...is this true? I was thinking 3ft Pixgelgens for the rack components then either the 16ft copper or 24ft optical for the AVR->Projector run. My current Monoprice is 16ft which is pretty much max with little room to bend ..so thinking 24ft would be safer?
