@sachxtrem In Allods there are two races of humans, a race of mummy robots, and a race of rat-humans which you control three at once. Only orcs and elves are the repeated ones. The classes in Allods may sound the same as in other mmo's, but their actual skills are very different. Combat in the Astral is different than in Voyages because the endgame features instances and quests like other mmo's as well as controlling a ship. It feels more complete than just going around in a ship.

@sachxtrem fought against Tep. Each time a Zem died during this war, his or her spark was trapped inside the pyramid until the Tep--and the last Zem--was destroyed. When they were released, the sparks returned to their bodies and reanimated their flesh. The Empire enhanced the corpses with mechanical parts, and now they are members of the Xadaganian Army. Sparks of the dead still, however, were trapped in Tep's pyramid.

@sachxtrem Allods has more. Not only are there new, challenging raids, awesome races and storyline, and unique classes, but it has something that most mmo's don't.
You can buy your own Astral ship, fight demons, pirate other ships, and explore hidden islands. You won't find anything like it in any other fantasy mmo.

I have been a WoWhead for a long while...and I have been trying to find a game worth playing that was as fun as WoW and I haven't found one yet...I am hoping this is it. I am downloading as I watch this.

@sachxtrem went into the pyramid as well. However, unlike the other sparks, was powerful enough to overcome Tep.

He created spirits called Servants of Tensess, to return the other trapped sparks. His servants guide the gates to Purgatory, and if citizens of Sarnaut perform the right rituals, they can ressurect any time they please. Tensess bestowed this ability upon all citizens so they could unite against the common foe: The Astral Demons.
This is just one of the sub-plots I was talking about.

@sachxtrem And the storyline is not only unique from any other mmo; where else can you find an mmo on a shattered continent suspended in space, constantly fighting against demons to keep the land intact? What's WoW's basic plot? Simply fighting a war? Yes, there are other sub-plots in WoW, but there are also sub-plots in Allods.

@benahhx But if you've played WoW for that long, you've been paying $15 per month for several years anyways. A year's worth of WoW subscription, costing about $180, costs way more than what you would spend on Allods in that time. Plus, cash shop items last for much longer than a month-long subscription.

@nhavas You can get the blessing for free either by doing the quest that takes about 10-15 minutes or by taking another quest that gives you 4 hours of it that takes about 12 SECONDS to complete =D ( If you already have blessing from the 15 min quest you get potions for 4 hours that make you a lil bit stronger instead ).
The patch that will be realeased in 2 weeks tho will take away the Incense damage increase buff so you will not even need 2 do the quest! Cya ingame ! ZAK EU.

easily the best fully f2p MMO out there. Everything from the art style to the music and even animations is just spot on.
I've come back after leaving due to FoD. Didn't realize that my gibberling warrior was only lvl 12, and it's taken me two days to get to 13. Steep levelling curve.
Also, what's the deal with always needing incense or a patron's blessing?

@sachxtrem Yes, well, what I said is only the basic plot of Allods. Like in WoW, there is much, much more.

Let's just take the religion of Sarnaut. Both Kanians and Xadaganians worship Tensess, the Great Mage of the Holy Lands. Tep, a necromancer who was obsessed with immortality, discovered that a "spark" resides in every living body. Tep created a pyramid to trap all the sparks from those who release them upon death.

@MrJUSTTONY charms are now free forever so u can keep buyin them with 0 gpots and never get a cursed item from dying. Unfortunately tho items are still cursed when dropped from heroics/treasures. But it can easily be uncursed with scrolls. If you want a cheap price join a guild.
