On April 2, 1982, Argentina invaded the Falkland Islands to take back what the Argentinians believed was rightfully theirs. The conflict lasted 74 days. 649 Argentine military personnel perished as well as 255 British military personnel and 3 Falkland Islanders. Argentina surrendered on June 14, 1982.

My father served in 2 para when he served in the falklands, if he was still alive he would have liked this I think, I’d live to hear a song about goose green ! My dad never talked about it, after he died his surviving squad mates told me stories of his service and it still makes me emotional now, love this band ! Thank you !
