Thousands of asteroids orbit with us around the sun every day. From some as small as the size of your fist to some others as big as cars, the threat of collision at the speed of thousands of meters per second is real. This is why NASA sent a spacecraft to one of the closest asteroids to Earth on a mission to collect samples and predict the chances of collision. The samples returned in late 2023, and scientists have been shocked at the results their analysis has produced. In fact, experts are saying that life on Earth might have come from these asteroids.

My question is if humans came from the material collected from asteroids from billions of years ago, then evolution or religion aside then what might the origins of these DNA samples have looked like? Would they have been the origins of the soup in the seas that eventually became the animals, including humans?
