Hi sir, your lecture is good. I have some doubts,
For combined cycle power plant with HRSG, if you want to maintain exhaust temperature the same with partial load also, then
My doubts are
1) First to decrease load, you would decrease fuel flow. Now, if you decrease fuel flow, turbine inlet temperature would change na? So, in operation do they always keep turbine inlet temperature same irrespective of loads, or they can change turbine inlet temperature or not?
2) If you want to maintain same turbine inlet temperature, then we have to increase or decrease the airflow?
3) Why at partial loads(loads less than base load), exahust temperature is said to increase? Why?

IGV temperature control works on Exhaust temperature CPD biased control? As per my understanding due to any reason when cpd increases it increase air flow to combustor with (igvs fully open ) this will decrease combustion temperatures hence ttrf will decrease and ultimately ttxm will decrease. As TTRF falls below ttxm at new CPD value the fuel flow will increases to maintain constant firing temperature.
But with data trend the ttrf wouldn't come to its original value as cpd increases or decreases with change in ttxm.

Have you posted any video on trip oil system employed in GE designs.

What i understand during normal operation trip oil flows to solenoid valve and 20 TV, Gas fuel stop valve and Liq fuel stop valve.
When command is initiated the solenoid valve make it flow to drain thus droping the pressure of trip oil header which further close the igvs and fuel valves but

But igvs are actuated by hydraulic pil so how trip oil trips them.

What is IGV temperature control slider?
Secondly how cpr relates with exhaust temperature?
If CPD is high then CTD is high and CPR is high?

At part load IGV control mode ihs on oor off?
At base. load igv os 86 degrees and exhaust temperature is 630 celcius
at part load igv is 53 degree and exhaust temperature is 640-645 celcius
