3:20 might be the best swing Tiger has ever made. That swing was perfect in every sense of the word.

i hit that same type of shot where he hit it on the roof, it goes so far. just take the club back outside but keep it square, and drop it in, bam.

Furyk's bunker shot was on the 1st playoff hole not the 4th hole

Why does it say Hale Irwin pulled out a victory here in 1984. He never
won this tournament? It's listed in a playlist by "Wevi" titled
"Memorable Moments: Bridgestone Invitational Watch Hale Irwin's fortunate win in 1984, Mark O'Meara's 5th win at Pebble, Tiger Woods' incredible"

@MacHoodio well, i think it was a phenomenal shot but #1 he could see the ball at address #2 he knew where to aim and had no shadows to contend with, from that point on you just swing.

Why can't Firestone get a U.S.Open. Let the rough grow, speed up the greens it's got length.

have you ever heard what jim nantz(sorry if misspelled) was talking about on this shot. He was in the building just behind the 18th green. He said he couldn't even see the flagstick. That's how dark it was and so if he couldn't even see the flag from probably 20-25 yards away, how do you expect someone 130 out to see it. You my friend are probably a 45 handicap i would say

@ 3:40 tiger thinks the roof is the green

@wyattrubin Tiger was probably thinking the exact same thing. haha

he could see the pin i'm sure, it wasn't pitch black. it was a normal shot with the lights dimmed. i think tiger woods would agree with me. he would never pull the trigger on any shot without knowing or seeing where he was going to be hitting it.

@wyattrubin

If only golf was that simple, people find playing with a shadow difficult never mind when you can barely see the ball at all.

he doesn't need to see 130 yards. if he knows where to aim, WHICH HE DID, it's a normal shot. if the target was moving or something it would be nearly impossible, but it's just sitting there. he knew the yardage, he knew where to aim, he could see the ball at address.

why was the shot in the dark so great, it's not like couldn't see anything, if you know the yardage and where to aim, you just swing, it's just like a normal shot.

well yeah i know it was darker than it looked, but he could still see the ball at address, i don't understand why that is revered as such a great shot, and i don't think i ever will. plus, he had an 8 iron, in 2000, tiger woods could hit an 8 iron to ten feet 9 out of 10 times.

he probs could have hit that shot with his eyes closed (dark shot)
