Nostalgia warms but saddens me, my son 11, i watch abandon his toys, start talking about his future adulthood. I actually cry for what he will foolishly lose. How we all wanted to grow up, now how i wish i could feel that again.

48 years ago. Wow, I was 17 turning 18. When I first heard this song it really hit home. David Gilmore IS a LEGEND! I had my Dad listen to this and he was absolutely amazed. He was a WW11 Vet.

Obscured by Clouds, for the most part, is what early Pink Floyd sounds like with Gilmour leading the way. Waters was off in the corner quietly brainstorming and writing the Dark Side of the Moon while they were making this rocking album.
