DIY Curly Haircut: Layering Curly Hair with Pigtails Cut

It’s time for a new DIY curly haircut! I used to do the unicorn haircut on my curly hair but because I got tired of the dramatic v-shape it gave my hair, I turned to professional curl stylists and still wasn’t able to get the kind of shape I was looking for. I’m trying out Manes by Mell pigtail haircut in hopes that it will help me layer my 3b/3c curly hair just the way I want it. Cutting your own curly hair at home is convenient but can be kind of scary. If this method works out, I’ll consider sticking to doing my own DIY layered curly haircut from now on and keep updating it.
