This is a demo of the Ultrasonic Module JSN-SR04T Module for Arduino.
The SR-04t is the waterproof version of the HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor. I dunked it in a pool to show you that it works (the strobing of the OLED was due to sunlight) in water.
It does not, I repeat, does not measure distance under water (Sorry DIY Sub makers). But, you can use this to measure distance in wet environments. So if you are building an application that triggers based on someone entering your a perimeter, and that environment is rainy, this is the sensor to use.
You will short out the HC-SR04 in water/rain.
You will NOT short out the JSN-SR04T sensor in water/rain, BUT the circuit board WILL, so keep it dry!!!!
