I used to work with a medical doctor with this condition. So sad to see what they go through.

I too have cholinergic urticaria for the last 20 years. My theory is the tap water, it makes it worse. As i recalled it started when they changed our tap water from chlorine to chloramine additives. Not a doctor but a simple test will tell you how bad it is to your body/skin, scratch yourself 2 times then dabbed the scratch spots with filter/bottle water one side and the other with tap water and watch how long the redness takes to goes away. I guarantee you the tap water with the chloramine takes 5x longer, as i always wondered why after showering with tap water it takes hours for redness to go away. Can you avoid tap water? sadly no as, you can drink bottle but you can't cook/shower with contacting it. You got to move to another state / country that don't have it in their public utilities.

My brother is allergic to his own sweat, and he works in heavy machinery. Its really only happened a couple times, this morning he had an allergic reaction and it got so bad he went to the hospital and got his own epipens. So now since im home the most with him i have to use the Epipen every time he has the reaction. Thankfully he has a big aircon in his room he can use.

I have that too.. but mostly just my face swells up and around my eyes and not as bad.. no permanent solution looks like.. try our best to avoid sweating..

I felt really bad for this woman about how this rare condition has destroyed her life, and lives with it every day. Because there’s no cure for cholinergic urticaria, I can tell how much she really misses her old life before she was diagnosed.

I have this allergic to, Doctor in Thailand said "We can not cure it but we can control it" and my doctor tell me the name of it it's atopic dermatitis (a.k.a enzema) I can't go to gym play soccer anymore 😔
