Transcription of Django Reinhardt in 'Nuages' (13.12.1940)
Показать описание
Hello people! Hope you 're all doing good. Today's pick was recorded on this date, 79 years ago. Probably Django's best-known composition, and this for me, is the ultimate version. Has been recorded several times throughout the different periods of his career, and let's be straight: all versions are amazing. But this one just hits me every time. I don't need to say more, let's have a quick look at the facts:
Django Reinhardt et le Quintette du Hot Club de France :
Hubert Rostaing (cl)
Alix Combelle (cl, ts & chimes)
Django Reinhardt (g solo)
Joseph Reinhardt (g)
Tony Rovira (b)
Pierre Fouad (dm)
1940 December 13 - Swing, Paris
Well folks, there goes another video, hope you enjoy it. Thanks for liking-sharing-subscribing and supporting what I do.
I have many requests for tabs for these transcriptions and I already started working on soundslicing them. I 'm afraid I'm pretty unfamiliar with this process and I don't know when all these are going to be ready but I will keep you updated everytime I finish one so you can check it out.
Ok guys, that's it for now, catch you later.
Vive Django!
Peace
P.S. This is especially for my friend Adrien Tarraga who is a killer guitar player in the style of Django Reinhardt and I urge you to go to his youtube channel and subscribe if you haven't. Also, to my friend Juan Teruel who has his birthday today. Happy birthday man!
