Clearer explanation for those who had trouble focusing during the video, certain details omitted for simplicity: matter can have three states, depending on the energy it currently has. As the energy increases, matter goes from solid to liquid to gas. Conversely, as the energy decreases, it goes from gas to liquid to solid. For water, it goes from water vapor to dew to ice. The atmosphere in some specific spot has a certain humidity: if you will, the air is mixed with water in gaseous form. Temperature is a form of energy: for the atmosphere, often the main form of energy! So the lower temperature goes, the lower the air's energy goes. At some point, the energy will be so low that the water will condense into dew: it will go from its gaseous state to its liquid state. The dew point is then temperature at which this process happens. Obviously, the more humidity in the air, the easier it is for it to condense to liquid water, so the higher the dew point is (in other words, the higher the temperature for condensation goes).

Thank you for reading the definitions for us, an explanation involves Explaining in plain English in a easy to understand manner. Change the title to "reading about dew point" please, as it would better describe the video.

the higher the dew point, the wetter the air is, aka humidity, 100% humidity is rain basically

if it's a dry desert area then the dew point might be 18 degrees, so it's gotta get down from say 118 degrees to 18 degrees for you to see and feel the dew

in a humid area like the jungle it might need to only drop from 85 to 75 degrees for everything to get wet, so of course it will drop to that and you'll wake up in your sleeping bag with everything soaked

So sad that most comments are commenting on you and not the video.
This helped a lot, thank you.

Who thought that an explanation would be helped by distracting music? Fire them!

People mad cause people as saying she’s cute, as if they would’ve watched the video had it been some old science professor looking dude.

Anyone can read of google search. Background music didn't help.

Looks cold enough for a dew point to occur.

Music was horribly distracting from your explanation and I don’t want to re-listen because of the music. So not very useful for me personally but I appreciate the effort.

idk what is good in this video cuz there is no animation, a just saying of words which again does not or does make sense as the book
