The current Niva Travel is offered only with a 1.7-liter gasoline engine that develops a modest 80 hp and 127 Nm of torque. The car is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and permanent all-wheel drive. It is expected that the redesigned SUV will also receive a version of the 1.8-liter 8-valve engine from the Lada Vesta with a power of 90 hp.
