In My Heart (A Jelena Story) Two

I smiled at Joe for a few seconds, lost in a trance. He had these amazing deep chocolate brown eyes that sparkled even in the dull light of the corridor. His smile made my heart flip over, not that I liked him or anything. I don't fall too easily. But.. He was just so cute, it was hard not to notice his amazing features. He let go of my hand, clearing his throat. I cut out of my trance and looked at the floor when I realised I was staring at him. He laughed slightly when he noticed me blush a light pink. "So.." Joe sang as be begun his sentence. I slowly looked up at his beautiful face as I moved a strand of my annoying fringe out my face. "So...?" I echoed.
Joe cleared his throat again. I was guessing it's what he did when he was either uncomfortable or nervous.
"You lost?" He asked with a cute smile.
"A little." I answered giving Joe my timetable.
He took it from me, looking at my next class. "You have history. Just down the hall, room 14. I'll walk you there if you like?"
I nodded shyly. "I'd like that thanks." I smiled a little looking back at my fingers and begun walking at a slow pace through the hustle of kids.
"So what brings you to Ranser High?" (Yes I made that up xD)
"Mom remarried." I begun. I was happy he was interested in who I was. Never really felt noticed before so it was a good feeling. "My step dads daughter goes here so it made sense they sent me here."
"Step sister in our year?" Joe asked.
I nodded. "Yeah. Miley?"
I knew Joe recognised the name as soon as I said it. Miley was really popular. At first we didn't really get along, but she has my back and all so its all good.
"Oh.. She's my ex.."
I felt a little uncomfortable when he said that. He turned and looked at me grinning. "I'm kidding. I just wanted to see your reaction."
My eyes widened, I couldn't help but slap him lightly on the stomach with one of my books. "Ass!" I giggled.
Joe laughed. "Why did that bother you?" Joe asked as we stopped outside my next class looking into my eyes. I stared back at him, trying to find something to say. Ring! Thank goodness for the bell. I snapped out of my trance as kids started moving past me. "T-thank you... For.. Showing me my class." I said, words muddled in my head.
Joe flashed me a brilliant smile. "Your welcome." He nodded.
I felt a little awkward, I didn't know what else so say so I turned about to go into my class.
"Hey Selena!" Joe stopped me as I turned to face him. "You coming to the game on Wednesday?" (it's Monday)
I rolled my eyes smiling. "I just got here."
Joe shrugged. "If to do I'll give you twenty bucks."
I gave him a bored look. Did he think he could just buy me?
"Plus.. You'd be my good luck charm." He said in a swet voice.
I hated that. I bet he'd use that voice on hundreds of girls.
"I'll think about it." I smirked walking into my class.

Of course I was gonna be at the game. Cheer tryouts was at noon and I wasn't gonna break my promise to David.
